I got featured on the Make: blog!

Exciting news: I got featured on the Make: blog for a project I’ve been working on for a while: amigurumi resistors rendered in crochet. Basically it’s a really soft and cute form of the resistor.

Here’s the article if you want to check it out and find out how I made them: http://makezine.com/projects/crochet-your-own-adorable-amigurumi-resistor

I’ve also made an amigurumi LED! Click here to check it out.

  1. I’m a crochet blogger and Maker Faire participant who found your cute resistors in the Make: magazine. It was the first time I had ever picked up the Make: magazine and was pleased to see your amigurumi featured. Now I am going to have a good read of your blog. I am interested in combining tech with traditional skills like crochet.

Lovely crochet, Amanda. Happy making! 🙂

Not sure if you have the time to view this, but Mr. Cilli actually gave me this link. Good luck with your college endeavors!

  3. I read MAKE regularly, and just had to check out your blog, too. Clever and well executed.
